These rules form part of Xtasia’s Club Rules and apply alongside the Membership Terms and Behaviour Rules. The Membership Terms take precedence if wording conflicts.
Participation is always optional. Agree boundaries before an activity, check that everyone can freely decide and communicate, and stop if consent is withdrawn or uncertain. Do not begin or continue with someone who is asleep, unconscious or too intoxicated to consent.
Consider your own experience, health and ability before participating. Do not undertake activities beyond your skills or use equipment you do not understand. Ask staff about access needs, medical-device arrangements or unfamiliar facilities; do not assume every area is accessible.
Agree the activity, limits and a clear stop signal beforehand. If speech may be restricted, agree an effective non-verbal signal. Stop immediately when a stop signal is given, someone is distressed or consent becomes uncertain.
Do not seek to expand agreed limits while a participant’s ability to make a free, informed decision is affected. Do not interrupt a scene or aftercare except for an immediate safety concern. If concerned, alert the event safety team or staff; in an emergency, prioritise getting help.
Respect reasonable instructions from staff and the event’s designated safety team, including instructions to stop. Use only permitted areas and equipment, work within your skills and arrange appropriate aftercare with those involved. Event-specific safety requirements also apply.
You can report to any staff member. At events with a designated safety team, you may also approach that team. Tell us what happened, when and where, and any details that help identify those involved. You do not need to know someone’s name to seek help.
Report as soon as you feel able. Prompt reports can help us intervene and preserve relevant evidence, but delayed reports are also taken seriously. You may report directly to police or seek medical, legal or specialist support at any time.
We take reports seriously and consider the information available. Where appropriate and safe, we seek accounts from those involved and may take immediate protective action while a concern is assessed. An allegation is not, by itself, a finding of wrongdoing.
Warnings, removal, suspension and bans follow the Membership Terms. Repeated breaches may justify stronger action. Relevant concerns about conduct outside the venue may also be considered; decisions should reflect the available evidence and safety risk, rather than rumour alone.
We handle reports discreetly under the Privacy Policy and restrict access to those with an authorised role in handling them. We may preserve relevant records and share information where lawful and necessary, including with police. Confidentiality does not mean we can promise never to disclose information or withhold it from a lawful investigation.
Retaliation, intimidation and interference with reporting or an investigation are prohibited. You may raise concerns about how a report was handled with ownership through reception or the website contact service. We cannot guarantee that misconduct will never occur, but these rules do not limit the club’s legal responsibilities.
